A Degree in the Science.
A Decade in the Field.

Warren Gullette started Gullette Pest & Lawn because he saw a gap: most companies in the area were sending technicians with a license and a price sheet, not people who actually understood why the grass was struggling or why the ants kept coming back.

Warren’s degree in Horticulture with a specialization in Turfgrass Science gives him a foundation that most local applicators simply don’t have. He understands soil chemistry, turfgrass biology, pest life cycles and the interaction between lawn treatments and pest control — which matters when you’re combining both services on the same property.

More than ten years of working in North Texas specifically means he knows the Collin County pest pressures, the clay-heavy soils, the Bermuda and St. Augustine turf that dominates the area, and what actually works through the Texas summer.

Gullette Pest & Lawn is a family business. You call Warren, Warren shows up. If something isn’t right between visits, he comes back and makes it right.

The Difference a Real Education Makes

Formal Training in the Science

A BS in Horticulture and Turfgrass Science means Warren understands soil structure, plant biology and pest ecology — not just which product the distributor is pushing this month.

Texas State Licensed

Texas Certified Applicator license means Warren has passed state exams on pesticide safety, application techniques and pest identification — it’s not just a business registration.

North Texas Specific

Ten years in Collin County means Warren knows what pests are active when, what the local soils need, and what the neighbors have. He’s not applying a national playbook to a regional problem.
